How much does it cost?
Project Minimum: $6000 – see more details in INQUIRY
All Projects require multiple Sessions to complete. Pricing is per Project divided by number of Sessions. Estimates vary per Project depending on size, design, placement, skin, and various other conditions. For this reason we do not give estimates. Final figures are determined after the design is created in person.
Where are you located?
Monarc is a private studio located in the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles. Focusing one on one with clients, we aim to foster a Membership of long-term Projects. The design and atmosphere of the space emphasizes the individual and is not a walk-in shop. Once your Tattoo Enquiry is approved, you will be granted Members access that will allow you to secure your Project and learn full details of the studio.
How can I get approved for the waiting list?
Each Enquiry is carefully considered based on those who share the same values of the Studio, understand the Process and are committed to a long term Collection. To better understand these values read through STUDIO. If you have submitted and are not approved there is always the possibility to book in the future and you are welcome to resubmit.
How do I secure appointments if I am out of state or overseas?
Once your Project has been approved you will be granted access to the Members portal where you can book, manage and prepare for your Tattoo.
How often does Jun Cha tattoo overseas?
Currently we focus one on one with clients in Los Angeles plus annual pop-up studios in London and Hong Kong.
Do you sell your tattoo designs?
No we do not sell designs. Due to the hands-on nature of each Project, the designs that are created are apart of a collaborative Process relative to each individual client.
Is there any way I can get my appointment sooner?
Priority Booking is only available for existing Members who have started their Projects depending on real time schedule changes, cancellations and events. For all new clients we do not swap Sessions because each Project requires a different time frame relative to existing Members and our Booking system.
When will I see the lay-out of the tattoo design?
Tattooing is a fluid collaborative Process that is balanced with a simple three phase structure. Learn more by reading through the Process sections of STUDIO.
How long is a normal tattoo session?
Sessions can average 9 to 12 hours including breaks, depending on the scale of design, skin, tolerance and other factors. Once your Project is approved, you will receive a full detailed breakdown in our Members portal.
